Protect your business and employees with Workers' Compensation Insurance.

Stop Overpaying on Your Workers' Compensation

Workers’ compensation insurance premiums are based on a number of factors, including your business’s experience modification factor. According to experts, between 40-70% of people overpay on their workers’ compensation insurance premiums. That’s not okay. This is often due to an incorrect mod factor and errors in payrolls or audits. The good news is, you may qualify for a refund on overcharged premiums. At Veritas Insurance, we have recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars for Tennessee businesses that were unknowingly overpaying on their workers compensation premiums. Your business could be next.

Not only does Tri-Cities workers’ compensation insurance provide important protections for your business, it is mandatory in the state of Tennessee. Imagine that an employee has an accident on the job site and goes to the hospital with severe injuries. Now imagine not having workers’ compensation insurance to cover the ensuing costs. How will you pay for the medical bills? Are you going to get sued? Could you even lose your business? Workers’ compensation insurance provides important coverage for your business and employees, and the quality of your coverage matters.

Veritas Risk Management is an independent insurance agency based in the Tri-Cities, Tennessee. Being independent, we don’t rely on one insurance company for our paycheck. Instead, we work with a number of different companies to help you find the best coverage for the best rates available on the market. We will help you review your workers’ compensation policy, and do what we can to help you keep your costs down, and get the coverage you need.

Our Process

Verum Inventum Processum (VIP) is Latin for “truth finding process.” This is the process we walk through with every prospect and client.

Even though there is minimal work on your part and many hours of work by the Veritas team, we do not charge you for the VIP and you are under no obligation to us at any time during the VIP.  This process provides two valuable advantages for you. First, it allows you to see how we work as we get to know your company better. This will allow both of us to see if we are a fit for each other. Secondly, this is a small way for us to give back as we have been blessed by so many companies over the years.

Past Policy Audit
We perform an audit on your past five workers' compensation policies. This audit consists of making sure your classifications, remuneration figures, and claims are correct.
Experience Modification Factor Audit
We perform an audit on your past three Experience Modification Factors to ensure that you are not overpaying on your workers' compensation premium.
Findings Presentation
We present our findings to you and educate you on workers' compensation insurance to help you control your claims and premiums going forward.
Money Recovery
We will help you collect 100% of the refunds available due to past errors by your insurance brokers. Unlike some firms, we do not take any of the recovered money.
Claim Prevention
We provide you with tools proven to reduce the number and impact of claims. If you decide to appoint us as your broker, we schedule and 3 month and 7 month follow-up video conference review. We will also review and complete your workers' compensation audits for you to make sure they are done correctly.

Coverage Provided

Lost Wages

Workers' compensation insurance covers lost wages for an employee that was injured on the job. That coverage is generally 2/3rds of their average weekly, non-taxed wage.

Death Benefit

Statistics show that young drivers are far more likely to be involved in a serious auto accident than any other age group. Thus, teen auto insurance premiums are much higher. However, we can help you save money on your teen drivers' auto insurance policy. We know which companies have the lowest rates for your teen and know about the available discounts. This can save you an enormous amount of time and money shopping for auto insurance.

Lump Sum Settlement

If your employee is permanently disabled, whether totally or partially, they will get paid based on the severity of the disability. That money will allow them to take care of themselves for the rest of their lives.

Medical Expenses

Workers' compensation insurance will cover your employees' medical expenses due to a work-related injury or illness.
